Class Information

Morning Practice:
Moderately rigorous alignment-based class open to beginners. Focus will be on gaining balance and stability in our bodies through longer-held poses. Use of props will be explained and encouraged.

Beginners Class:
Fundamental poses and alignment principles for those brand new to yoga as well as continuing students wishing to practice at a more moderate pace.

Both classes are $16 drop-in or $12-$16 depending on class card.

Meeting Yourself on the Mat II: Tuning Up Your Home Practice
(Sunday July 12, 2:00-4:00pm):
For those with an ongoing home practice or who attended a previous "Meeting Yourself on the Mat" workshop. We will begin this workshop with each of you doing your own self-directed practice. You will be observed and assisted in fine-tuning your sequence with appropriate propping and modifications. Following this, we will explore different ways of practicing a few chosen poses. Please sketch or write out one of your regular practice sequences and bring it to the workshop along with your questions. $35 pre-registration/$40 at the door.
